Our Capabilities

Plasma has a heritage of performing high-temperature coatings for 30+ years. However, we do much more than just high-temperature coatings. Internally, we have the capability to perform various processes including Cold Spray, Atmospheric Plasma Spray (APS) or Inert Plasma Spray, Vacuum Plasma Spray (VPS), Shrouded Plasma Spray, and more. This allows us to perform coatings for things like thermal protection systems (TPS) or thermal barrier coatings (TBC), radiation shielding, rain penetration, environmental barrier coatings (EBC), specialty coatings like stealth, and more. We can also apply a variety of unique materials including refractory or platinum group metals, ceramics, polymers, alloys, and a variety of other materials required for extreme environments and conditions.

In addition to coatings, we also have multiple additive manufacturing (AM) capabilities including Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF) 3D-Printing, El-FormTM Electro-deposition (internal to Plasma), and can utilize our plasma capabilities. We utilize these AM and machining capabilities to fabricate products for our internal lines as well as our customers product lines. We also have enhanced our solution to become more of an end-to-end, one-stop-shop while incorporating many machining and post processing steps like grit blasting, USPL, material testing, NDE, and some additional capabilities and processes. We have implemented solutions for research and development (R&D) while providing commercialization pathways to low-rate-initial-production (LRIP) and into high-rate production. Our facilities are set up to automate and make your products affordable at production scale.
