Description
  • Manages stock levels, oversees receiving/shipping, conducts cycle counts, and leads warehouse staff to maintain inventory accuracy. Key responsibilities include implementing control procedures, optimizing storage, and reconciling records.
  • Responsibilities:
·        Coordinating with purchasing and supply chain teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock, avoiding overstocking or stockouts.
  •  Direct inventory staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management, to optimize productivity.
  • Streamline shipping/receiving processes, reducing turnaround times.
  • 98 % inventory accuracy by managing cycle counts and physical inventory reconciliation.
  • Analyze inventory levels to anticipate needs, reducing under-stocked/overstocked items using ERP systems.
  •  Ensure safe storage procedures and compliance with safety standards (e.g., OSHA) for hazardous materials.
  •  Train and mentor inventory team members.
  •  Monitor inventory levels and reorder as necessary.
  •  Generate inventory reports and analyze data trends.
·        Reconciling inventories and coordinating annual physical inventory. ·         Using GSS to manage and action daily ERP messages. ·        Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Supervisor or similar role.
  •  Strong knowledge of inventory management systems.
  •  Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  •  Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  •  Familiarity with supply chain and logistics processes.
  •  Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  •  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory software.
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of inventory auditing, auditing techniques, and material handling
  •  Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience may  count in lieu of a degree

Physical Requirements ·        Can tolerate a combination of prolonged periods of standing, bending, and stretching, or sitting at a desk and working on a computer ·        Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
