Plasma has both of its buildings and facilities located within Huntsville, Alabama and has >80,000ft2 of manufacturing and office space. Its facilities house over $40M of production and test equipment including: twenty molten salt electrodeposition (EL-Form®) process units, four air plasma and three vacuum plasma spray units, Laser-Powder Bed Fusion (L-PBF) additive manufacturing systems, furnaces, powder fabrication, EDM, CMM, and a complete metallurgical laboratory. Plasma has a clean room for assembly of propulsion units as well as testing capability in vacuum. We recently added more machining capabilities and have up to 9 EDM machines and added one 5-axis machine. We are fully equipped with equipment and a metallurgy laboratory for material testing as well as utilizing our certified VPS systems for arc-jet testing. We have multiple shift capabilities and have expansion plans for more equipment based upon demand and customer needs.

We currently have DCAA approved systems and follow all appropriate requirements for DPAS, FARS, and other government contracting requirements. We also are compliant to CMMC, NIST, and other cybersecurity requirements which allows us to handle secret, CUI, ITAR, and other information. Plasma is in the process of integrating an ERP system (with all supporting portals) called Global Shop Solutions (GSS). The implementation of this software will only improve efficiency internally as well as provide increased reporting for our customers. This ERP system will have multiple roll outs with most of them implemented in mid-calendar year 2024.
